Poland voiced its displeasure on Monday at being excluded from a pivotal meeting involving leaders of the U.S., Germany, the UK, and France, where discussions centered on bolstering support for Kyiv amid its ongoing conflict with Russia.
Originally scheduled to include Polish President Andrzej Duda at the U.S. Ramstein Air Base, the wider meeting was canceled because of Hurricane Milton. Poland highlighted its critical support role, noting that the majority of aid passes through its territory.
Relations between Poland and Germany have warmed under a pro-European Polish government, despite disagreements on migration policies and joint EU defense financing. Warsaw remains critical of Berlin's stance on certain issues.
