Attempted Assault on Haryanvi Artiste Sparks Outrage

A man was apprehended by police on Sunday for allegedly attempting to assault a Haryanvi artiste at her residence in Nandgram, according to officials.

The incident reportedly took place around 1 am, as mentioned in a complaint filed at the Nandgram police station. Upon arriving home, the woman discovered Akash Tyagi, the accused, along with another individual already inside her apartment.

She reports that after locking herself in a room to evade the duo, they forcibly entered. She managed to escape, despite threats of harm, and filed a complaint. Police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with a full investigation underway.
