King Charles and Queen Camilla are set to land in Canberra on Monday, marking their first visit to Australia's capital in nearly a decade. Crowds are expected to gather to welcome the royal couple, whose visit follows their recent engagement in Sydney.

This trip represents King Charles' 16th official visit to Australia and comes after his recent cancer diagnosis. Notably, it's his first major international journey since February. On Sunday, well-wishers greeted the royals as they attended a service at Sydney's St Thomas' Anglican Church.

Upon arriving in Canberra, the royals will visit the Australian War Memorial, followed by meetings with government officials. Additionally, they will tour the National Bushfire Behaviour Research Laboratory, where Charles will observe a demonstration of the 'pyroton,' a tool simulating Australia's notorious bush fires.
