In a recent crackdown, Delhi Police apprehended five individuals suspected of involvement in a gun battle in northeast Delhi's Welcome area. The arrest was made public on Sunday by a police officer.
The accused, identified as Samad (28), Shanu (30), Kasim (23), Hasim (22), and Mohammad Noor (22), were allegedly engaged in a violent confrontation over money, during which 17 rounds were fired near the Raja Market locality.
A 22-year-old woman named Ifra sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital. Authorities have launched an investigation to uncover the reasons behind the incident, recovering several pistols and country-made weapons from the scene.
