A significant development has unfolded in the Baba Siddique murder investigation as Mumbai Police's crime branch arrested a scrap dealer from Navi Mumbai, accused of supplying a weapon to the shooters involved.

The arrest of Bhagwat Singh Om Singh, a 32-year-old originally from Udaipur, Rajasthan, marks the tenth detainment linked to the murder, highlighting the intensified crackdown following Siddique's shooting on October 12.

In addition to Singh, police have apprehended nine others, including five from the Mumbai Metropolitan region, for providing logistical support, while efforts continue to capture the main shooter Shivkumar Gautam and other accomplices still at large.
