Gangster's Jailhouse Video Sparks Investigation

Arun Choudhary, known as 'Abu Jatt', was relocated to another prison after a video featuring him surfaced on social media, according to an official on Sunday.
The video allegedly shows Choudhary, a suspect in a murder case, claiming he bribed prison authorities for a mobile phone.
Originally from Khour Deonian village in Jammu, Choudhary was arrested earlier this year after a Punjab encounter, accused in the December 25, 2023, murder of Akshay Sharma. Authorities have launched an investigation following this viral video, and an FIR is filed, said Jail Superintendent Kathua Koushal Kumar.
