Juveniles Sent to Reform Home in Disturbing Assault Case
Two juveniles, aged 13 and 16, were sent to a reform home after allegedly raping a five-year-old girl in Ballia. A six-year-old involved was released. Families of the juveniles lived as tenants in the victim’s house. Charges were filed under POCSO and BNS laws following a police complaint.

In a disturbing case, a court here has sent two juveniles, accused of raping a five-year-old girl, to a reform home in Mau district, according to a police official's statement on Sunday.
The two accused, aged 13 and 16, were presented in the Juvenile Court of Ballia on Saturday. Meanwhile, a six-year-old involved in the incident has been released, as per Station House Officer (SHO) Yogendra Bahadur Singh.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikrant Vir reported that the crime occurred on the roof of the girl's house on Wednesday evening, with all parties living as tenants there. Upon the mother's complaint, a case was registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
