Authorities in Thane city, Maharashtra, have achieved success in recovering 65 lost mobile phones valued at Rs 7.2 lakh in the Kalwa area, according to an official statement released on Sunday.
Reports and complaints about missing mobile phones in Kalwa had been persistent throughout 2023. In response, a dedicated team undertook efforts to resolve these issues efficiently.
By using the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) application and technical support, the police were able to trace the missing gadgets. The recovered phones are set to be returned to their respective owners shortly.
