A dramatic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Palghar district when a woman was arrested for allegedly kidnapping a three-and-half-year-old boy, police reported on Saturday.

Authorities detailed that the child went missing from Nalasopara's Hawaipada area, leading to an intensive investigation by the Valiv police. The child's mother had taken him to a nearby tuition class, where he was reportedly abducted on the pretext of requiring medicine by the suspect, later identified as Sabrin Sheikh.

Thanks to CCTV footage, Sheikh was apprehended in Bandra, and the boy was rescued unharmed from a relative's house in Naigaon. Police are investigating her claims that the abduction was connected to a familial dispute over her relationship with the child's uncle. Meanwhile, efforts continue to locate an associate of Sheikh involved in the kidnapping.
