Climate activist Sonam Wangchuk persists with his indefinite hunger strike at Delhi's Ladakh Bhawan, accompanied by his supporters. Aimed at securing Ladakh's inclusion under the Sixth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, Wangchuk initiated the protest on Sunday afternoon.

So far, no government representative has approached the protesters, according to Mehdi, another activist participating in the strike. Medical tests conducted Tuesday revealed low blood pressure among many protesters, who are enduring severe conditions, including 40-degree Celsius heat.

Despite health concerns and difficulties, the protesters remain resolute in their demands. They seek to meet with top government officials to address issues, including statehood, a public service commission, and separate Lok Sabha seats for Leh and Kargil. The sit-in continues amid restricted access and heightened tensions.
