Thane Police on Wednesday arrested the two accused school trustees in the Badlapur sexual assault case, according to an official report.
The Bombay High Court had denied pre-arrest bail to the school chairman and secretary a day before, criticizing the police for their failure to arrest them thus far.
The Thane crime branch apprehended the duo from Karjat and indicated they would be handed over to the special investigation team probing the alleged sexual assault of two kindergarten girls at a Badlapur school in August.
