The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned activist Snehamayi Krishna for questioning on October 3, following his complaint against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the MUDA land allotment scam.

Krishna's complaint prompted the Lokayukta police to register a case against Siddaramaiah and others related to the Mysuru Urban Development Authority compensatory sites allotment issue.

The activist had also reached out to the ED to investigate possible money laundering aspects. According to ED sources, Krishna is required to submit evidence supporting his allegations against the CM.

Meanwhile, Siddaramaiah's wife, Parvathi B M, announced she would return the 14 compensatory sites allotted to her by MUDA amidst growing controversy over the 'illegal occupation' of her land in Kesare village.

Siddaramaiah stated that the MUDA case does not involve money laundering, rendering ED's involvement unnecessary.
