A 36-year-old building caretaker was shot dead while intervening in a tenant dispute over loud music in Dwarka's Mohan Nagar area, police reported Tuesday.

Identified as Bablu, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to his stomach. The incident occurred late Monday night when police received a PCR call regarding the murder from a hospital. Upon arrival, officers found Bablu with a gunshot injury.

Investigations revealed that a tenant, Pujit, was playing loud music when another tenant, Lavnish, objected and began a confrontation. Bablu intervened in the altercation, which escalated when Aman's cousin handed Lavnish a pistol, leading to Bablu being shot. Forensic teams examined the scene, and efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspects.
