In a tragic incident on Tuesday morning, a 13-year-old girl was killed and her father injured when a speeding dumper hit their motorcycle on Film City Road, Goregaon, Mumbai, according to police officials.

The accident occurred at 6:45 am as the girl, identified as Vanmai More, and her father were on their way to school. Vanmai sustained a fatal head injury and died instantly, while her father was hospitalized with injuries.

Local residents caught the dumper driver and handed him over to the police. Authorities have launched an investigation into the accident.
