The Delhi Police have apprehended a man for allegedly selling counterfeit products of an automobile company since 2018, officials reported on Sunday.

The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Sachin Singh, was detained in the Karol Bagh area.

According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Satish Kumar, Singh had been operating a business dealing in fake automobile products, which included counterfeit spare parts and barcode printers. A complaint from an authorized representative of the automobile company led to an investigation and a subsequent raid resulting in the confiscation of a substantial quantity of duplicate products. Singh has been charged under the Copyright Act.
