The Border Security Force (BSF) thwarted an infiltration attempt by a terrorist along the International Border in R S Pura during the night between Saturday and Sunday. The troops observed suspicious movement and opened fire, forcing the intruder to flee.

In a subsequent search of the area, BSF personnel recovered a significant cache of arms and ammunition, including an AK assault rifle, multiple magazines, and rounds of ammunition. The discovery underscores ongoing security challenges at the border.
