Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, condemned Israel on Saturday for committing what he termed as 'shameless crimes' against children and non-combatants.
His remarks followed an Israeli airstrike on Friday targeting a building in Beirut, which resulted in 31 fatalities, including women and children, as confirmed by the Lebanese health ministry. This incident marks the deadliest escalation in the year-long conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
In a display of military prowess, Iran unveiled its 'Jihad' single-stage liquid-fuel ballistic missile, capable of reaching targets up to 1,000 km away. The missile was showcased during a parade commemorating the start of the 1980-88 Iran-Iraq war.
