Ukraine's government has approved the 2025 draft budget, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced on Friday.
Shmyhal, posting on Telegram, detailed that the draft is set to be presented to parliament and it includes revenues amounting to 2 trillion hryvnias along with expenditures of 3.6 trillion hryvnias.
Formulated 2-1/2 years after Russia's invasion, the draft also prioritizes defence with a substantial allocation of 2.22 trillion hryvnias ($53.5 billion), reflecting the continuing military pressures facing the nation.
