IAF Collaborates with Local Police in Sexual Assault Probe
The Indian Air Force is working with local police in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir, to investigate a sexual assault complaint lodged by a female flying officer against a Wing Commander. An FIR has been filed, and both officers are stationed in Srinagar. The IAF is cooperating fully with the inquiry.

The Indian Air Force is cooperating with the local police in Jammu and Kashmir's Budgam in probing a complaint of alleged sexual assault lodged by a female flying officer against a Wing Commander, according to an IAF official.
An FIR has been reportedly filed in the case by the local police after the woman officer filed the complaint against the senior officer.
Both the female officer and the Wing Commander are currently stationed in Srinagar.
'We are aware of the case. The Air Force Station in Srinagar was approached by the local Budgam police station. We are fully cooperating towards this case,' a senior IAF official said.
