A fire incident occurred in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) ward of Government Jaya Arogya Hospital's Trauma Center in Gwalior district, Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday morning due to a short circuit in the central air conditioning system, according to a doctor on duty.

Thanks to the swift action of medical staff, the blaze was promptly brought under control. The doctor confirmed that the patients in the ICU were safely relocated to another ward, and no casualties ensued from the incident.

Dr. Amol, who was on duty, stated, "A short circuit triggered the fire in the ICU's central AC unit, but it was quickly controlled. Six patients were in the ward, and all were safely moved to another section." Dean Dr. R.K.S. Dhakad noted, "Our medical team and paramedical staff extinguished the fire and ensured all patients were transferred with their ventilators, resulting in zero casualties."
