Union Home Minister Amit Shah underscored the significance of cybersecurity in national development, stating that the country's progress is unattainable without it.
Dubbing cybercrime as a borderless threat, Shah called for concerted efforts from all stakeholders to combat this menace during the foundation day of the I4C, or Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre.
The minister announced the government's initiative to train 5,000 cyber commandos over the next five years and highlighted that 46 percent of the world's digital transactions are conducted in India. Shah also inaugurated four new platforms under I4C to bolster the nation's cybersecurity framework.
