Tragic Family Murder-Suicide Shocks South Tripura Village

A horrifying incident has emerged from a remote village in South Tripura, where a 31-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife and 3-year-old daughter before taking his own life, police reported on Monday.

The tragic event occurred at Nabarampara within Baikhora police station's jurisdiction, raising suspicion among neighbors when the family was not seen for several days. This led locals to alert the authorities.

Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Law & Order, Ananta Das, confirmed the discovery of three decomposed bodies bearing signs of injuries from a sharp weapon. The police have initiated an investigation, registering a case of unnatural deaths to uncover the motive behind the devastating act.
