Arun Goel Appointed as India's Ambassador to Croatia

Arun Goel, a retired bureaucrat and former Election Commissioner of India, has been appointed as India's next ambassador to Croatia. In a significant diplomatic move, Arun Goel has been appointed as India's next ambassador to Croatia, as confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs on Saturday.

Goel, a retired bureaucrat, previously held the position of Election Commissioner of India, a role he assumed in November 2022 and resigned from in March 2024.

Before his tenure as Election Commissioner, Goel voluntarily retired after an illustrious career as a 1985-batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre.
