Delhi is gearing up for its Assembly elections, due in February 2025, with a robust voter roll verification campaign set to start next month, officials announced.

Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct a house-to-house verification throughout the National Capital Territory (NCT) to update the electoral rolls by January 1, 2025. This verification phase, which kicked off in August, will run until October 18, aiming to ensure accurate voter details and the facilitation of necessary updates.

The integrated voter roll will be published on October 29, followed by a period for claims and objections until November 28, which will be resolved by December 24. The final voter list will be officially released on January 6, 2025. The Chief Electoral Officer's (CEO) office has urged residents to engage actively, emphasizing that possession of an Electoral Photo Identity Card (EPIC) is insufficient without inclusion in the updated voter list.
