Carlos Menendez Joins dLocal as COO

Uruguayan digital payments company dLocal has appointed Carlos Menendez as its new Chief Operating Officer. Current COO and co-president Jacobo Singer will assist Menendez during a transition period until December 15, 2024. Uruguayan digital payments firm dLocal has named Carlos Menendez as its Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement on Friday.

Jacobo Singer, who currently holds the dual roles of COO and co-president, will continue in these positions throughout a transition period set to conclude on December 15, 2024.

"We are thrilled to welcome Carlos as our new COO. His extensive experience in scaling companies and establishing strategic alliances will be essential as we aim to grow and broaden our scope," stated Pedro Arnt, CEO of dLocal.
