In a significant development today, a Delhi court announced the extension of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan's custody by another three days. This decision comes amid an ongoing money laundering investigation led by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
Special judge Vishal Gogne passed the order following an application by the central probe agency. Although the ED had initially sought ten more days to question Khan, the court has granted a shorter extension.
Khan, who was arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) on September 2, has been accused of being uncooperative during the searches conducted at his Okhla residence. The court will review the case again on September 9.
