At least two suicide bombers were killed in a terror attack at a military headquarters in northwestern Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, sources reported on Friday.
Security forces confirmed the elimination of two out of the five suicide bombers during a gunbattle that ensued following the massive attack at Mohmand Rifles Headquarters in Ghalanai town, located in Mohmand district near the Afghan border.
The encounter is ongoing, with security forces conducting a thorough search operation to secure the headquarters. The rise in terrorist activities in Mohmand district, especially by the militant group Jamatul Ahrar, affiliated with the banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, is concerning. Authorities believe the group is behind this attack.
