Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has revealed that new government institutions in Himachal Pradesh will be established following specific political, population, and topological considerations. This was disclosed during a state assembly session on Thursday.
Emphasizing his commitment, Sukhu assured that essential facilities, staffing, and posts will be ensured before the opening of any new institutions. This comes in response to BJP's Randhir Sharma's inquiries about the rationale behind the opening of institutions in certain areas.
Sharma accused the government of political bias, especially toward constituencies like Dehra, which saw new institutions being sanctioned in every cabinet meeting post by-election. Sukhu, however, stressed that all new openings would be need-based and guided by specific criteria.
