Six Released on Bail After Medical College Assault Incident
Six individuals arrested for assaulting trainee doctors and causing a disturbance at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, were released on bail. They were produced in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Gitika Kapila and granted bail upon furnishing a bail bond of Rs 15,000 each.

Six individuals who were arrested in connection with assaulting trainee doctors and causing a disturbance at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Medical College and Hospital in Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, were granted bail.
The accused appeared before Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Mandi Gitika Kapila on Monday, where they were released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs 15,000 each, according to the police.
The incident occurred late on Saturday night when a group of individuals entered the medical college premises in two vehicles and assaulted the trainee doctors, leading to a retaliatory response. The police registered a case under various sections for wrongful restraint, causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and intentional insults.
