A Delhi court on Monday mandated the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to issue specific documents tied to an alleged excise scam-related money laundering case to the accused individuals.

Special Judge Kaveri Baweja issued the directions after the accused claimed the documents provided by the ED were insufficient. Notably, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appeared before the court via video conference, while AAP leader Manish Sisodia, out on bail, also appeared through the same method.

The court scheduled the next hearing for September 6. The Supreme Court had earlier granted interim bail to Kejriwal in the ED case, although he remains in Tihar jail for not furnishing the bail bond. He is also in judicial custody over a connected corruption investigation by the CBI.
