The Enforcement Directorate has taken significant action by attaching assets worth more than Rs 8 crore in a Maharashtra-linked money laundering case. This development comes in light of allegations against Siddharth and Abhay Chokshi.
The agency has issued a provisional attachment order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act against the accused individuals. The properties involved include tax-free bonds and land in Pune, totaling Rs 8.09 crore.
The case is related to undisclosed foreign income and assets tied to a British Virgin Islands company, Blue Mist International Inc., linked to the accused and held in a bank account in Singapore.
