Massive iPhone Heist Worth Rs 11 Crore in Madhya Pradesh Sparks Police Action
Around 1,500 iPhones worth Rs 11 crore were stolen from a container truck in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Following the incident, one policeman was suspended and two others were taken off field duty for alleged dereliction of duty. An investigation is underway and a case will be registered soon.

In a significant heist, approximately 1,500 iPhones valued at Rs 11 crore were looted from a container truck in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. The incident resulted in the suspension of one police officer and two others being removed from field duty for alleged negligence.
Sagar Additional Superintendent of Police Sanjay Uikey revealed that the looters executed their plan by drugging and gagging the truck driver on August 15. The truck, transporting the iPhones from Gurugram to Chennai, was intercepted in the Narsinghpur district.
The local police confirmed they are verifying the transporters' claims and noted that Apple, the manufacturing company, had not yet reached out. Inspector-General of Police Pramod Verma has initiated disciplinary actions against the personnel involved due to their failure to register a complaint initially.
Videography of the crime scene is ongoing, and authorities expect to file a case after completing their preliminary investigation.
