A 20-year-old newly married woman was allegedly raped by a 28-year-old man at her home, according to local police. The accused, identified as Rahul, purportedly committed the crime while the woman's husband was away from home. The incident took place on Monday evening.
Police officer Sachchidanand Pandey stated that Rahul initially tried to enter into an illicit relationship by luring the woman with money. When she resisted, he reportedly gagged her and forcibly raped her.
Upon her husband's return, the traumatized woman recounted her ordeal, leading them to contact the police. An FIR has been filed against Rahul under sections 64[1] (rape) and 351[2] (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, with further legal actions underway.
