Man Sentenced to Life for BSP Leader’s Son's Murder
A court in Gautam Buddh Nagar has sentenced Pravesh Bhati to life imprisonment for murdering Rahul Bhati, the son of a Bahujan Samaj Party functionary. The judge also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Pravesh. Rahul Bhati was found shot dead in February 2022, and Pravesh was arrested soon after.

In a significant verdict, a court in Gautam Buddh Nagar has sentenced Pravesh Bhati to life imprisonment for the murder of Rahul Bhati, who was the son of a Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) official.
The District Judge, Avinash Saxena, also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on the convicted individual following the conclusion of the case hearing on Thursday.
Rahul Bhati, a resident of Palla village, was shot dead on February 11, 2022, in the Surajpur area. The police apprehended Pravesh Bhati shortly after the crime, and he was found in possession of a pistol and a motorcycle used in the crime.
