Fake Doctor Arrested in Maharashtra for Running Unlicensed Clinic
A fake doctor, Abdul Farid alias Saddam Sharif Khan, was arrested in Thane district, Maharashtra, for running a clinic without a medical degree. Medical officers found the clinic operating without a permit and treating patients with exorbitant charges. An FIR has been registered against Khan under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act.

A fake doctor in Maharashtra's Thane district was apprehended on Friday, officials reported.
The suspect, Abdul Farid alias Saddam Sharif Khan (34), a resident of Gaibi Nagar in Bhiwandi, was detained during an early morning raid. Shanti Nagar police confirmed the arrest.
Medical officers from the Bhiwandi Nizampur Municipal Corporation discovered that Khan's clinic lacked a valid permit, yet he administered treatments and charged patients exorbitantly. Following their complaint, an FIR was lodged against Khan under sections 319(2) for cheating by personation, 318(4) for cheating, and 125 for acts endangering life or personal safety of others, as per the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act of 1961.
