Police have detained two men accused of making obscene comments towards female candidates attending the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination in Aurai, officers confirmed on Saturday.

Sachchidanand Pandey, SHO of Aurai police station, stated that the men allegedly taunted female candidates at the Ram Sajeevan College examination center. The suspects, Ajay Kumar Saroj (22) and Omkar Saroj (35), residents of Vasudevpur, were identified and arrested following the incident.

An FIR was filed on Friday evening based on a complaint by head constable Raj Kumar Yadav, revealing the troubling events.
