Under stringent security, the Uttar Pradesh police constable recruitment exam is taking place at 1,174 centers across 67 districts, ensuring a fair process following earlier allegations of paper leaks. Director General of Police Prashant Kumar emphasized that security measures are robust and functioning as expected, with working CCTV surveillance.
The exam spans five days—August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31—with candidates sitting for tests in two shifts each day. The first shift runs from 10 am to 12 pm and the second from 3 pm to 5 pm. Approximately 9.5 lakh candidates are anticipated to appear daily.
Previously held on February 17 and 18, the recruitment test was called off due to paper leak allegations. To counter any fraudulent activities this time, the government has heightened security protocols across all examination centers.
