The Delhi High Court on Thursday reserved its decision on AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Kumar Pathak's plea, seeking permission from prison authorities for a physical meeting with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal inside Tihar jail.

Justice Neena Bansal Krishna concluded the hearing after listening to arguments presented by Pathak's counsel and the representatives from Tihar authorities. Pathak was previously allowed two meetings with Kejriwal in April, but his latest request was denied. The jail authorities argued that Pathak's statements post-meeting were politically motivated and contravened prison rules.

Pathak's counsel refuted the prison authority's claims, labeling the decision as arbitrary and unjustified. Contrarily, the jail administration maintained that Pathak violated prison considerations and divulged details of his meetings to the media, which is against the regulations.
