Amit Shah Mobilizes Central Aid for Flood-Hit Tripura

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday reached out to Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha to assess the current flood situation in the state, promising comprehensive assistance from the Centre.
Shah confirmed that Central teams, including the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), boats, and helicopters, are being dispatched to assist in the local rescue and relief efforts.
At least 10 people have tragically lost their lives, and one remains missing due to landslides and flood-related incidents. With heavy rainfall causing widespread devastation, over 32,000 residents have sought shelter in 330 relief camps. On the chief minister's request, four additional NDRF teams have been sent to bolster relief operations.
