Russian Forces Repel Ukrainian Incursion Near Bryansk Border

Russian forces thwarted an attempted incursion by a Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance team in the western Bryansk region, officials confirmed.

Russian advances in eastern Ukraine and the neighboring Kursk region were reported, with the cautionary note that Ukrainian forces are regrouping for potential future attacks. Bryansk Governor Alexander Bogomaz highlighted the coordinated effort by Federal Security Service border guards and military units in repelling the attack in Klimovo district, adjacent to Ukraine's Chernihiv region.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported the downing of 28 drones across multiple regions, including Bryansk, Kursk, Volgograd, Rostov, Belgorod, and Voronezh.
