Local residents quickly apprehended him and contacted the police. A case has been registered against Shah under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. This arrest happens amid protests in Maharashtra regarding alleged sexual abuse of two kindergarten girls in Badlapur near Mumbai.
