Despite these efforts, significant drone attacks on the heavily populated Moscow region remain infrequent. The Russian defense ministry confirmed the destruction of 45 drones across multiple regions, including Moscow, Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, and Kursk.

Preliminary reports indicate no injuries or damage in the aftermath of these drone strikes. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin confirmed that some drones were intercepted over Podolsk, located 38 kilometers south of the Kremlin. The incident underscores the escalating conflict, with intense battles continuing along the frontline in Eastern Ukraine and the Kursk region.
