Madhya Pradesh Government Transfers Nine IAS Officers in Latest Reshuffle

The Madhya Pradesh government has executed another bureaucratic reshuffle, reassigning nine Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officers. Sukhveer Singh has been named the new Chief Electoral Officer. The reshuffle also includes significant appointments in the Higher Education, Finance, and Shahdol division. This follows a major overhaul earlier this month.

In a continuation of administrative changes, the Madhya Pradesh government has reassigned nine IAS officers, with Sukhveer Singh appointed as the state's Chief Electoral Officer.

The transfer order, issued on Tuesday night, indicates Sukhveer Singh, a 1997-batch officer, will replace Anupam Rajan as the CEO. Rajan has been reassigned as the Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department.

Amit Rathore, of the 1996 batch, will now serve as Principal Secretary of the Finance Department, while Shriman Shukla, a 2007 batch officer, has been moved to the Shahdol division as Divisional Commissioner. This reshuffle follows the major transfer of 26 IAS officers earlier this month.
