Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Kidnapping and Raping Minor in Gautam Budh Nagar

A court in Gautam Budh Nagar district sentenced Kallu to 10 years imprisonment for kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old girl in 2021. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 40,000. The incident was reported in January 2021, and the police subsequently rescued the victim and arrested Kallu.

A court in Gautam Budh Nagar district on Tuesday sentenced a man identified as Kallu to 10 years imprisonment for the kidnapping and rape of a 16-year-old girl in 2021.

According to a police spokesperson, the court's conviction also included a fine of Rs 40,000. The case came to light on January 25, 2021, when a report was lodged at the Sector 49 police station alleging that Kallu had kidnapped the minor.

The police successfully rescued the teenager, and a medical examination confirmed that she had been raped. Consequently, Kallu was arrested and a charge sheet was filed against him.
