Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday took a swipe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of failing to deliver on his loudly trumpeted 100-day agenda before the polls. Kharge claimed the country is suffering from the 'terrible consequences' of Modi's inactions during the 95 days of his coalition government.
Kharge highlighted several issues, including an anti-people Budget, terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, and the ongoing crisis in Manipur, to underscore the government's failings. He also mentioned the alleged 'Modi-Adani mega scam' and criticized SEBI for its role in the matter.
The Congress president further lambasted the Modi government for betraying the youth with scams like the NEET paper leak and rising unemployment. Kharge pointed out flaws in various infrastructure projects and criticized the government's handling of railway security, flood relief, and various legislative actions.
