Police have arrested two individuals for allegedly attacking the car of Himachal Pradesh Congress MLA, Vivek Sharma. The incident occurred near Chak Sadhu on Hoshiarpur-Una Road as Sharma was en route to his native place from Jalandhar.

According to preliminary investigations, the suspects, Raj and Pawan Kumar, were riding a scooter and allegedly used an iron pipe to break the rear windshield of the MLA's car while it overtook them.

Authorities reported that the accused had no personal enmity with Sharma and no previous criminal record. They have been charged under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, according to Hoshiarpur Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Manoj Kumar.
