New Synergy in J&K Security: Prabhat Takes Charge as DGP

Lieutenant General M.V. Suchindra Kumar met with Nalin Prabhat, newly appointed Special Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, to discuss enhanced security measures. Prabhat, an experienced officer with a distinguished career, will take over from R R Swain as DGP on September 30, following an administrative reshuffle.

Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General M.V. Suchindra Kumar met with Special Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police Nalin Prabhat on Saturday to discuss enhanced synergy and security measures between forces, according to an Army statement.

Prabhat, a highly decorated IPS officer, will assume the role of Jammu and Kashmir Police chief following the retirement of R R Swain on September 30.

In a social media post, the Udhampur-based Northern Command confirmed that Kumar conveyed his best wishes and discussed the importance of bolstering safety and security in the Union territory.
