Teenager Disappears After Birthday Bash in Thane

A 16-year-old girl from Dombivali went missing after attending a birthday celebration on August 12. Vishnunagar police have registered a kidnapping case based on the complaint of her parents and investigation is ongoing.

A 16-year-old girl from Dombivali has gone missing after attending a birthday celebration on August 12, a Thane police official announced on Thursday.

The girl attended her friend's house for the birthday function and has been untraceable since, according to Vishnunagar police station.

Authorities registered a kidnapping case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita provisions on Tuesday following a complaint from the child's parents. An investigation is currently underway.
