Police Successfully Return Over 680 Recovered Mobile Phones in Operation Asha

The East Singhbhum district police have returned over 680 lost or stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners as part of the 8th phase of 'Operation Asha'. The event took place at Ravindra Bhawan Auditorium, with Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal and Superintendent of Police Rishava Garg overseeing the handover.

In a noteworthy achievement, the East Singhbhum district police have returned more than 680 stolen or lost mobile phones to their rightful owners during the 8th phase of 'Operation Asha'.

The handover ceremony was held at Ravindra Bhawan Auditorium, where Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal and Superintendent of Police Rishava Garg personally distributed the recovered phones.

To date, the district police have retrieved and returned 2,476 mobile phones in eight phases. The SSP also commended the police teams from Bistupur, Sakchi, Dumaria, and Dhalbhumgarh for their exceptional efforts. Emphasizing efficiency, the SSP instructed all police personnel to utilize the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal for future recoveries.
