Tragic Road Accident: Security Guard Killed by Drunken Student Driver

In a tragic incident at Gajularamaram, a 38-year-old security guard lost his life after being struck by a speeding car driven by a reportedly drunken degree student. The accident, which occurred around 6.15 am, was captured on CCTV.

According to officials from Jeedimetla police station, the security guard was walking on the road when he was hit, flung into the air, and died instantly upon impact. The 20-year-old driver, a second-year degree student, was taken into custody following a breathalyzer test that confirmed he was inebriated.

Five other occupants were in the car at the time, and the video footage shows none of them attempted to help the injured pedestrian. Authorities are investigating further into the incident.
